What airport will I arrive at?  Will there be transportation?

You’ll be arriving at Gregorio Luperon airport in Puerto Plata.
Transfers from and to the airport can be arranged (you pay the driver directly the prevalent local taxi rate). Your driver will be waiting just outside the airport doors, sign in hand, to take you on the short but beautiful ride to your Caribbean vacation home.  Sit back, relax and enjoy!

Check in, is there an agent?

Yes, our Property Manager will be on site to greet you, tour the condo, answer your questions, give you some tips, but more importantly - hand over the keys to your dream vacation home!

Getting groceries, is it easy?

Very easy! Very Caribbean!  The driver will stop and even shop with you at one of the supermercados (supermarkets) on the way!   There are 2 large markets, 2 small neighborhood shops and numerous roadside fresh fruit, veggie and flower trucks, all close to the condo, all are fun to shop!
Another option is to pre-order a “filled-fridge” selection of tropical fruits, fresh breads, meats, deli items and cold beverages of choice all awaiting your arrival, now just pick pool or beach!

Are there a lot of restaurants nearby?

There are 2 great restaurants right next door and we're minutes away from Cabarete and Sosua where you'll find everything from fancy restaurants, to exotic cuisine, to simple eats on the beach. Don't forget to try the Dominican Meal of Chicken, Rice and Beans - the best!

Vehicle rentals - should I rent?

Car rental companies are readily available, and we’ll be happy to arrange or recommend for you.  Most offer low daily rates, great discounts for longer periods, include insurance(s) and have unlimited mileage.  So yes, rent a car, Harley, super bike, scooter or taxi and get out, have fun, explore – you’re on vacation!

Currency, what is it?

Dominican Peso (RD$) is the currency, both US and Canadian dollars as well as Euros can be easily exchanged with a picture ID at any bank.  There are also numerous ATM’s in Cabarete and Sosua with a daily limit of 10,000 RD$ (approx. $180).
